Jew Mountain
Yesterday we successfully scaled the Mont Juic (Jew Mountain in Catalon); fortunately we has the help of two separate funiculars (cable cars). This was update with an Olympic village area for the 1992 Olympics that were held there and it has a castle still standing that goes back as far as 400 AD while being used as recently as WWII!
We had a lot of fun strolling around and taking in the sights not really helped put in perspective how big Barcelona really is and how little of the surface we scratched of this thriving, cultural city of 1.500.000 residents.
Afterwards we scootered (an experienxe in itself) to Parc Guell which was originally intended to be a 16 residence ultra high end gated community. It flopped. Now though, it's a free park for everyone to enjoy.
Today we flew to Sevilla successfully (well any time you land...) however we did have possibly the most disorganized queue I have ever seen (think Disneyland Main Street pre-opening meets Beanie Babies meets Usain Bolt setting a new OR (ya, we still watch) and QUITE possibly the most aggressive turn to hit our gate without flying past (as in: hard on the brakes, dip the left wing tip, up on 4 out of 6 landing grar wheels, etcetera lol). Also upon arrival at BCN airport I mispronounced the airline (which is Vueling, Catalon for Flying) and Claudia told me I translated it as "old" - thankfully the planes proved me wrong!

La Sagrada Familia...con Starbucks
So today we did a lot of actividadea de turistas like visiting La Sagrada Familia, La Pederera, Casa Batllo y Catedral de Barcelona but they were all well worth it and amazing sights to see in person. Of course, in between, we sampled some cervesa barria y sangria y vino temptrano!
